In partnership with Artisans associations of Lecce, born in December 1975 thanks to chamber of commerce to save the traditional and artistic handicraft in Salento and to sponsor the quality, Caroli Hotels proposes to visit some selected workshops.
Around hundred excellent traditional workshops in which the ancient tradition of Lecce is aware with refined papier-mache artworks, nativity scenes, small sculptures, and objects of various artists and accurate wrought iron and copper art forms made, like in the past, with hammer and press by local artisans.
Ceramic also represents art in Salento with its ancient origins and famous production labs like Lucugnano and Cutrofiano, “pietra leccese” with its international artistic recognitions, timber works, textiles and embroidery.
For wine and food delicacies there is “La Dispensa di Caroli” that, resuming an old family tradition, has selected the most delicious delicacies of Salento, sunny land between two seas: our goods derive from natural produces and exclusive recipes and are subjected to meticulous quality examinations. Our service providers don’t use preservatives and convert the produces manually, bearing in mind new biological and dietetic needs.
